how much can a 2009 jeep liberty (rocky mountain edition) tow WITHOUT a towing package

I dont know if I fully understand the question. none. without a hitch you have no way of hooking up a trailer to it. If you have installed a hitch but are missing the trans cooler and the clutch fan then I wouldnt try towing more than 2000 lbs. unless your traveling under 55mph and for a short time. like a half hour would be fine.
