THE 2009 VAN CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY THE IGNITION WOULD
NOT TURNTO THE OFF POSITION. THE 2 KEYS WERE DAMAGED BECAUSE
OF THIS. NOW IT SAYS DAMAGED KEY AND WONT START AT ALL

Clearly you need to repair or replace the ignition switch. Go to a Chrysler dealer for new keys.
