A/C Compressor replacment Chevy Aveo5 2009

My A/c compressor went out i took my car into the shop i was told to replace it i must also replace the condenser and another part. Is that right? i feel like they r trying to rip me off.

Hard to say without seeing the car. The condenser is the part in front of radiator that ..well..condenses the R134 from the comperssor to expand later in the evaporator in the cabin

They told me it was a standard thing that must be done. Thats why I was wondering. I dont see why it would need to also be replaced
