Car wont start after alt replacement, what do i do?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

took the car to the shop to change the alternator and they did not disconnect
the battery. I have replaced the linkable fuse ( 82620-33030) and I still
have no ignition, power windows,power
seats,radio,AC.

Keep looking, something is still blown or not connected. What kind of place would not use the right equipment to replace an alternator? FBN auto repair?

Was the battery new ? When they grounded a hot wire did it fry the new alt and then it started and ran on a fresh battery ? It ran when you picked it up right ?
