That's your tire pressure warning light, Your Tires need air!

Just noticed yesterday that all 4 of my tires are missing their caps.... and Shazam this mornings commute this ( ! ) light came on and praise God it’s not a Major warning light- simple fix: gas station and get air!!!

Does the tire pressure need to be significantly low in order for this light to come on? My pressure is fine, yet the light comes on? Perhaps the sensor is bad? Any other ideas?
