2008 RAV4 UNLOCKS ITSELF AND THE CLOCK LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF

2008 RAV4 Will lock itself when we get out and the clock will not turn off
resulting in draining my battery. Every thing shuts down normal as long as i stay
inside the car but as soon as i get out the doors lock and when the courtesy
lights go off, the clock remains on. Overnight the battery dies.

Turns out the ignition switch was the culprit. Didn't have to re key the ignition. The switching beyond the lockset fell apart while removing it.
