My Nissan rogue will accelerate but has now power and RPm go up really high

If check engine light is on, you may want to have the error codes read. If no check engine light my first guess would be a bad Vehicle speed sensor. Or VSS. Note I have a nissan rogue 2010 which had no acceleration problem when coming to stop light and trying to go had no power. When i got home the vehicle would start and stop right away. I suspected fuel pump so checked fuses and reseated all fuses on the ipdm board located just above the fuse box. Now the vehicle run 100 % like it should and the remote starter now works great hope this helps someone since the mechanic had told me it was the cvt transmission, not so at all, and happy driving.
I have a 2009 Nissan Rogue SL and I have no check engine light on but my RMP goes up to 4 sometimes but my MPH goes up slower please help
