Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After putting a new battery in I did not drive for 2 days when I tried to start it it
was dead. When I put my battery charger on the cables not connected to the
battery , it shows a 4 to 6 amp draw. Nothing is on a key is out. Some times it
will show 0 like it should then it will show 4 to 6 amps.

Whatever is pulling that much amperage is killing your battery. You will need to find and fix that fault. Try pulling circuit fuses when it faults to locate the right circuit to start troubleshooting. If your amps drop to zero when a certain fuse is pulled, that is the circuit containing the fault.
