2002 Dodge Durango slt 4.7. V8. Brake lights are out except center rear window light. If I hook up a trailer all the lights work. As soon as I disconnect, brake lights go out again. Any thoughts?

Replaced bulbs and fuses.

Leads me to think ground. If you have already checked/replaced fuses, and with trailer they light, the trailer plug is providing ground. The "3rd" brake light is on a separate circuit

Reword: replace connector coming from Durango.
