broke two bolts replacing water pump...any quick fixes?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am replacing the water pump on 89 mustang GT 5.HO, while removing the two bolts on passenger side they broke off. Are there any quick fixes for this problem? It seems like this would be a common problem due to the bolt's threads being in contact with water.

Unfortunately there no quick fixes for the problem. It seems ford didn't use the appropriate screws when they built the car so that the screws wouldn't rust when they came in contact with the water.
