I just noticed sometimes very rare my oil
pressure light comes on for a second
sometimes qhile my rpms are higher. Never
while idling only wuen above 2500rpms. Oil
is not low and the motor is quiet and

My guess is that when the oil pressure is at it's highest, the oil pressure sending unit is pushed to end of it's calibrated range and cuts out, making it look like a pressure drop. OR the engine is sludged up and the oil is not flowing back into the pan fast enough to satisfy the demands of the oil pump....gulping air bubbles. I know that sounds awful, but I'm trying to think of the worst case scenario. If your engine is pretty clean maybe it would help to change the oil sending unit. Make sure you are running the right grade of oil too.
