Radiator Hose

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My radiator hose has been rubbing on the oil filter housing, I had to get a new hose and a hose protector for it, has anyone else seen this problem?  This is crazy, you would have thought that someone at GM would have noticed that the vibration of the engine would adversly affect the hose.  Its really frustrating to get such poor engine design in a Pontiac.  I don't know why they just couldn't keep the engine facing front instead of the side.  What a mess.
