Turn signals both go on

Asked by Robert Aug 07, 2023 at 07:59 AM about the 2008 Jeep Patriot Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I signal to go right, the left
signal will also go on intermittently
then the right one. The opposite does
NOT happen when I signal to go left.
Anyone know how I may fix this?

Make sure the 4 way is completely turned off, maybe cycle it a few times to make sure, then see if it still does it. If it does then you may have a feed back on that side or the switch itself is making a cross connect internally.
