i have a 78 buick regal that wants too start without the key!!! i changed parts on the colum an its still wanting too start.... how can i fix this????

Is it possessed? Does it just spin the engine when your back is turned? Do you come out in the morning and it's all warmed up?

wire to the solenoid is touching hot, replace this wire. Goes from the ignition switch down to the starter solenoid...see why it got frayed we don't want the replacement to fray the same way~
