2007 Mercury Milan isn't firing at all???

Asked by Sha Feb 04, 2015 at 09:14 AM about the 2007 Mercury Milan V6 Premier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car started fine but was jumping and check engine light came on. I killed the engine
and restarted a couple times, had no power, the car eventually died slowly ( my dad
unplugged the oxygen censor and plugged back in) not sure if that effected it but once the
car died, it never started again. It just turns over and over but will not start. I've taken to
the FORD Dealership and they have not found the issue and it's been 2 days...

also check the #48 fuse (15A), dealership said my engine was bad and wanted to tear it apart. replaced engine and had same problem. my home garage mechanic friend took 40 minutes to find the problem after ford had it on their diagnostic computers for 3 days.
