Engine fan stays on after the ignition is turned off.

After a two hour drive on a very hot day the engine fan remains on after the
engine and ignition are turned off. Is this OK?

The fan can run up to 20 minutes after the engine is turned off. This is to cool the engine after a very hot drive. So no engine damage occurs, like warped heads and other issues.
