Ignition is locker

Asked by Tricia081 Jun 10, 2018 at 09:27 AM about the 2006 Hummer H3 4dr SUV 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I put the key in ignition & can’t get hummer to start, it
turns but nothing & cannot get key out of ignition.  Going
to charge battery but think it’s an electronic issue.  I did
notice when I locked it, the alarm didn’t go off prior to this.

Same issue happened to me ... looked like it was my batter because when I got a jump it started right up. It happened again and then got another jump. Went and bought a battery. It was fine for one day, then the exact same thing happened. Looks like it might be the starter or alternator not sure yet. Need to get a mechanic to look at it.
