Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1996 Land Rover Discovery, recently my BRAKE light on the dash has been
coming on when I press the brake pedal.  It doesn't come on every time It is braking fine,
squeeks occasionally - pads are good for wear but cheap quality :-(, this bugs me to no
end.  How do I get this to stop?

Have you checked the brake fluid?

Typically happens when your brake fluid is low. Check the level in the reservoir. It is probably right at the low level line.
