youll need to look at the VIN for that. theres a bunch of sites that can tell you the weight once you have the VIN

A 1991 chevy 1500 short bed with 6 cyl has a curb weight(weight with no passengers) 4000lbs. So I am not quite sure what "papa" is talking about. It must be a Tank version.
