Asked by Earl Feb 21, 2007 at 11:48 AM about the 1992 Chevrolet Lumina Euro Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Every time I shift it into a gear it dies I replaced the computer, cleaned the EGR but it still does the same thing that it did when I bought it from my friend.  what should I do now?

This sounds like a problem of vacuum modulation but that's just a wild guess based on what little I know. It's obvious that there's an issue here that's beyond the tinkering stage. You need to get this checked out by a professional who can lay hands on the car for you ... Good luck Earl!
