Car shuts off while driving

How can i stop it from cutting off. Cause i just put
a high performance distributor on it then it started
to do this

Well first off don't assume because it is a new high perf distributor that it might not be defective. I have bought many parts and had them be no good right out of the box. I know what a pain it is to replace the distributor on an LT1 . Next look at the ignition module and the coil (both located on the driver side cylinder head in the front. When those go bad they work when the engine is cold but once it warms up they shut the car down. (more common with the ignition module) Try looking into those things first. Good luck Dan
