My anti lock light came on

My car was perfectly fine when I drove it
and when I started it agine it was fine till
I turned a corner and the light came on
and my brake was hard to push in and
was making a kinda whinding sound

Take it to a shop have them test the ABS pump by the sounds of things that sounds like the problem
Unless you are a mechanic ... take it to a garage ASAP because you have been given a warning of impending failure ... and my first thought would be the danger anywhere kids are playing so unless your Fred Flintstone , you can't stop your car by pushing your feet through the floor. A quick trip to Midas or Pep Boys may remedy your problems before they get worse
That sound freaking scary thank you both so much
It wasn't just the light coming on but the issue with the pedal that raised concern
Ya when I started it earlier it seems fine but I havin drove it and the break is feels normal
