Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My buick lesbre over heated a week ago twice. I
was going to put a new thermostat in it but then
the next day it ran at 180 just fine and for the
following week.   Today it randomly cycled from
210 to 240 so i turned my heat on to be safe....
the cabin heater went from hot to cold in the same
cycles that my engine  temp went from 210 to 240
the heat would get hot to cold almost a min apart
