Wet floor board

Asked by Mark Jun 17, 2012 at 09:58 PM about the 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2006 Eclipse gets wet in the driver side floor board when it rains.  It does this sitting still in the drive way, there are no signs of water on in the car other than the floor board.  There are no holes in the floor board and the sun roof tubes have been blown out.  Any ideas where the water is coming from?

Check rubber seal around edge of drivers side mirror/window. Seal tends to shrink or shift leaving about an eighth inch hole there. Silicone fixed ours. Hope this helps.

Having same issue. Driver's side floor front and back are completely soaked after it rains. Still trying to investigate the issue, not sure what it can be, as it's not coming from the top/door of the car because when i wash it there is nothing. If you figure anything out please let me know. you can email me at krissca444@gmail.com.

I'm now having the same problem with water on drivers side floor. There is no water on the door, windows or anything. Nothing else is wet!! Had the car going on 5 years now and this just started.

Hi, I have a 2000 Eclipse and I am researching the same problem. I had the sunroof housing replaced due to a possible leak but that wasn't the problem. I still have a wet floorboard even when it isn't raining and even when I am not running the AC. Check out: https://www.club3g.com/forum/3g-eclipse-general-discussion/128394-c-moisture-drain- location.html I copied this and I am going back to the dealer!
