Why did my radio set code HF-LINK? I can do nothing with radio now.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was listening to radio and it went to HF-LINK with a phone icon.  Will not
allow me to do anything with radio but, adjust volume.  Disconnected
battery and it still comes up HF-LINK.  It did finally, after two days, prompt
me for code and I put that in and it worked.  Then next time in car it went
back to HF-LINK. I don't have hands free options on steering wheel and
have never set up a bluetooth to work with my car.

Did you ever get an answer to this? Or find a solution? I'm having the SAME issue.
