overheating put a new thermostat in

I have a 93 4.3 Vortec Chevy S10 Blazer put
in new thermostat and it is still overheating
as I'm sitting at a red light as soon as I hit
the gas and hold it to the floor as I take off it
cools down cannot figure out the problem
because when it first happened I thought

How does the Antifreeze look? Might need to flush the cooling system, Maybe a weak water pump?

I am having the same trouble with my 2005 Blazer. Did flushing it help or did it need a water pump? Is it difficult to replace the water pump?
