I'm about to buy a 2006 Cayenne with 70,900 miles on it. It needs new tires soon. I was told Michelin Pilot Sport. What does anyone out there recommend.
According to CARMAX last two Maintenance Inspections were performed 6/6/2012 at 62,410 miles and Recommended Maintenance was performed 1/17/2014 at 70,857 miles. I apid $330 to Pacific Porsche to conduct a "Pre-Purchase Inspection". Few minor discrepancies were found:Control Module showed faults at Air conditioning, Gateway Control Module, Electrical system - but they said it may only need re-sets (whatever that means),low-tone part of the horn not working, front Power port&Cigarette lighter not working (Fuse?) Cup Holder&Cigarette lighter broken in rear, chips in windshield, Drive Belt may need changing (based on age&mileage), the 4 tires on the car are not Porsche-recommended. They also recommended a Major Service ($1,275!) based on mileage&age. Also brake fluid renewal ($235!). WHAT ELSE CAN I ANTICIPATE DOWN THE ROAD? Appreciate any help.
