car will not shift into drive

My car goes through the first two gears but will not
go into drive?

Go to a few trans shops, let them test drive it. Get 2 or 3 shops to tell you the same thing. Then you'll probably have the true answer. Then take it to the one you trust the most...but MAKE SURE you check!

Yeah props to the aspirin pic that was hilarious! Anyone who's ever owned a vehicle knows that that's appropriate to have aspirin handy! All I could say is all the good advice has been well noted but have you check your transmission fluid level maybe if you added fluid it might switch gears?

Did you get the recall done regarding the shifter linkage? Mine went out completely. Ordered the part (less than a dollar) then found out it was a recall that was just released so they fixed it for free.
