My 1996 did this exact same thing this weekend when I was moving. Turns out it was the fuel pump that set me back $1100. Sheesh. On that note, anyone know anything about a reasonable cost to change the ball joints? I was quoted $1200 and that seemed absurd. I cannot do the repair myself and they need a serious change. And is there just 2 or 4 ball joints on a '96? Thanks!
