Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am a female knowing nothing
bout cars i decided to do my own
mechanic work on my 96 chevy
taho i have no oil pressure on

If you have not locked up the engine then it is probably the oil pressure sending unit which is not all that hard to replace. GM uses a screen between the sensor and the engine which is known to clog up.
