Question type: Maintenance & Repair
my 1996 cavalier will not take throttle in gear. It sputters and dies you have to ease into the throttle to get it to move. I have replaced the fuel regulator, relay, filter. I have also replaced the tps, map, the little sensor in the air filter hose.

The fuel pump is good I checked it. Also forgot to mention the miles it only has 75,xxx original miles . From what I've seen and heard dosen't timing problems show up on higher mile cars.
Not really, low mile.s and time play issue,s with timing belt,s,just cause it is low mile,s,,,look at the age of belt over 14 year,s,it,s bad,,check timing for belt slippage, think it may be outa time,,
