Only if the vehicle is so badly rusted that it is ready to fall apart. Miles are very low for a Toyota if maintained, you stated it is in good condition, I’ve seen these highlanders with 500000K miles and still running strong cause they were maintained properly.

There are 50 year old vehicles driving around out there. If it's in good condition, keep it until it is no longer in good condition. It could last another 10 years.

Toyotas and Lexus are the best... Here's out 34 year old Previa which I still drive. If maintained well and driven sensibly, your car with 114,000 miles is just broken it.

BTW... In the past decade cars have become computerized nightmares. They're planned obsolesce, and when you hit 50,000 miles, you start having somewhat expensive troubles. Consider your "07 Hylander a gift from Toyota that might last you another thirty years.

When a vehicle starts costing you money for repairs, leaves you stranded by the side of the road, doesn't want to start when you need to go somewhere, or is unsafe, it's time to replace it. That could be 5 years, or 35 years old. It could be 50,000 miles or 350,000 miles or more. My 03 S10 Pick Up has just over 313,000 miles on it and is still going strong. The worst vehicle I've ever had was 6 years old and, allegedly, had 52,000 miles on it when I bought it. In the 2 years I owned it, from 1984 to 1986 I put almost two thousand dollars into it for repairs. Then it needed sixteen hundred dollars in front end work and that was when I got rid of it! Vehicles are a lot like people. Some people live to be one hundred years old and others don't make it to fifty. Hope that helps! Jim
