Which is more important for used car, age or mileage?

Asked by Robert Oct 07, 2014 at 09:02 AM about the 2007 Acura RDX SH-AWD with Technology Package

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Looking at used cars and wondering if, for example, a 2009 model with more miles is a better deal than a 2007 with less miles (same model car).

Highway miles. City miles. Look at the brake peddle. How much ware is showing on the lower left conner? Maintained? Service records? 20 year old kid or 45 year old real estate agent?
