07 Dodge Calibur transmission r&r

Asked by Guru3MSN May 23, 2017 at 01:17 PM about the 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Installed a 2016 Patriot cvt with 7k miles in a 2007
Dodge Caliber.  Doesn't seem to want to move fwd
or rev without revving up and then barely with no
power.   Any thoughts?

Your ECU may not be compatible with the newer CVT. Do the two CVT's have the same part number?

I can't say exactly how it is labeled but look for a tag.
