Inside front headlamps not working.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Was in a bump up and needed front head lamps (head lights on both sides replaced) the repair shop can't seem to get the inside lamps to work. Replaced both sealed beam lamps - and computer mod. Still can't get the inner lights to work. Any suggestions.

What strikes me on your question ptf01, that if a repair shop can't find out what's wrong, you are going to the wrong shop. No. I don't have a suggestion, sorry my friend, other than go to a reputable shop. If he hit you up for an engine brain to try to fix the lights, you were ripped-off. Big Time. Try to get your money back, but good luck with THAT
Maybe its the switch itself.
Good answer Michael. didn't think of that, the basics instead of over-thinking it. But I stand by what I said about your mechanic.
i would run a multi meter to check if any power is reaching the lights on the loom to them and make sure that the control module is the right one as there is im told by my mechanic friend there is three variations,if there is power to the module then the module is at fault, typical bmw over thinking the electrics im afraid
I totally agree that the switch is a good place to start. Also check the fuses. It does not take much to blow those guys. Keep it simple.
THEY DON'T WORK ON ANY Z4. GO TO DEALERSHIP AND THEY WILL TELL YOU THE SANE THING ! ! !
Z4 inner headlights are not functional. The outer xenon lights act as both low and high beam.
