Volvo engine inquiry I don't think there's going to be coolant leaking onto your Pistons if it was just the timing belt and water pump I think he is trying to rape you unless there is some other valid reason for coolant which is in front of your engine to be leaking down onto your Pistons I I think you need to find another mechanic
And if it's leaking coolant you know there's all kinds of other things that could be are you is the window foggy by the passenger side that could be your heater core and if it's just your radiator leaking you know then there's no need for the timing belt and the water pump are you sure he even put a new water pump in. Or timing belt for that matter did he give you the old ones?
It sounds as if you have a bad head gasket. The T5 engine will not be cheap to repair but those are pretty reliable cars when properly maintained so your mileage may vary.
