Will a 99 golf engine fit a 95 golf

Looking to upgrade my 95 Golf Celebration to a turbo. Any suggestions on which motor
will fit.

that would be a major endeavor...it requires changing the wiring harness, computer, instrument panel, possibly the transmission. It's not an inexpensive endeavor. Best money would be spent procuring a Mk4 VW with the 1.8T and selling the Mk3.
