leak occurs where window meets rubber on conv. top of my z3, 1996. can window be adjusted inward to put pressure on rubber seal?

On my 97 I had the same problem, and found the leak was coming from the corner of the windshield and leaking back to the hinge area of the top. I used some black silicone gasket cement and filled the voids in that windshield area that joins to the top. Lift the top from the windshield and you should seethe voids. Good luck. DOUG U
Good luck. My 2000 leaks in the same area and tonite I am trying a different approach to try and fix the leak. For the mean time I just continue to keep towels on the seat to soak up the water. If my new tactic works I will post.
