What cold be the problem

This guy wants to sale me his 2006 r350. It was
rear ended and he had to changed the lift gate.
(rear door) now the rear door does not line up and
close properly. Is our could this be a bent frame
issue or installer issue. It has 134k miles good
interior, no check engine lights everything works
great the rear door (lift gate) is the problem. And a
cracked bumper. Can some one give me some
advise please

The short answer is all of the above. I hope this car is dirt cheap!
Buy it if it drives OK and the tires look like they are evenly worn. Brand new tires can mask a world of hurt. If it is dirt cheap and you can afford to lose the purchase price tomorrow you might have cheap transportation, be ready to dump it the first time it needs more than a minor repair! Be sure the back door seals! You could end up with exhaust inside the car or a major rain leak.
Usually if a fender or door is not lined up it is because a body shop did not repair it and straighten or replace the necessary parts to make the fit correct. Someone did it themselves and i would go in expecting a problem or a few down the line.
