I am ready to change them now. I am thinking it maybe one battery that is dead. Another question, please. Is there a way I can program another key without paying a high price? My son lost my other one.

You;ll need to order a key from MB. An old key cannot be reprogrammed or paired to an existing one, and only a dealer can make a replacement key work. It's part of "theft relevant" control of parts. No other way.

Ok. I am going to contact them in the morning in hopes that they will be able to get me one. Thank you so much.

No it still doesn't work. I changed the batteries but it still will not lock/unlock doors nor will the panic work or the trunk. I don't know what the issue could be.

What did the dealer do? Or not do?

They looked at it and said that they would order new keys and if they don't work it must be the actuators. But I plan to take it to another dealership in NC next week. These people seem to just want money. I had to pay 500 and they fixed nothing.
