2000 chevy cavalier 2.2L cranks no start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

okay so the car was towed in due to crank no start. First pulled the plugs as
owner stated that they can't remeber when plugs where changed last. so of
course pulled plugs and they were toast. prolly 50k miles plus on those
plugs. So i changed the plugs and went to fire it up and it ran real rough
chugging so I put new wires on it even tho the ones on the car didnt look
very old. and still have same issue starts but runs real rough. At same time I
noticed that the car was leaking coolant so I did pressure test and noticed
water pump was leaking so replaced that and now the car cranks over but
doesn't start. Did a compression test on all 4 cylinders and all of hem are
roughly 170 or better nothing over 180. I have tried putting starting fluid down
throttle body but acts like it wants to start but will not. all 4 cylinders do have
spark. any ideas. No check engine light. Scan tool shows cats at 100% and
also show OL meaning something is showing open if I'm not mistaken. Ideas
on fixing this problem.
