Why is my truck just shutting off

Asked by Dodgeman2500 Feb 23, 2018 at 08:41 PM about the 1997 Dodge RAM 2500 Laramie SLT LB 4WD

I have a 97 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 it's shutting
off when at an idle or coming to a stop signs
or going slow.. It's happened 4 times today
and it seems to be getting worse. I don't
understand it this truck had been well.
Maintained and runs amazing and still has
the power it had coming off The lot in 97 !
No check engine lights.. No warning signs
nothing shuts off. Then I start it right back
up... Someone help me out here...

what do the plugs look like ? look for loose/broken vacuum lines , look for a good motor to chassis ground
