2005 5am 1500

motor was snow covered bad,  thawed and dried, will not run, it will crank but
not run, just put in a new battery (old one not holding charge) started and ran
for approx 5 mins at idle it died and will not start. what could i check, is there a
fuel shut off sensor? i have a ram 1500, 2005 v8 4wd

I think you have moisture problems. Dry out the engine for a couple of days and try to start it again. A heater and fan would help.
