How much transmission fluid should I put in my
dodge ram 1500 hemi? Only emptied the pan

It will only take like 3 to 4 quarts, but don't dump it all in at one time. Put 2 quarts in, start the engine and with your foot on the brake run the shifter threw the gears so the fluid will circulate. Check the fluid level and probably will take another quart of fluid. Again shift threw the gears then check the fluid level. You just don't want to over fill it.

Call a local O'reillys or Autozone parts store and ask them to look it up. You could do like I do and measure what is drained out and replace it. My guess is 4 or 5 quarts.
