What is the Fuel pressure at the pump on a 2004 Ram 1500 4.7?

Asked by Ken Aug 17, 2020 at 08:04 PM about the 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced my fuel pump that had a crack and was leaking, I was also
replacing the fuel line connector on the factory line. But it is so fragile/weak I
cannot heat it up to get the new fitting on. Finding plastic/nylon fuel hose is not
as easy as expected. I was wondering if I could replace it with a rubber line
instead.

A rubber line will only be temporary unless you get a proper fitting to connect the line. You can get nylon line from Amazon and the proper Dayco fuel line coupling fittings.
