Water pump 2000 dodge ram 1500

I have changed water pump on my 2000 dodge
ram 1500  two times in the past 1 1/2 years. Could
someone please tell me why they are not holding
up?

Poor quality parts? Find a different source but use a good anti- freeze and try adding some water pump lube to the radiator.

Buy only a new water pump and change the thermostat. It fixed my problem with my 2000 dodge ram 1500 (went thru two water pumps in less than two years then found out they were rebuilt---paid more for a new one and it fixed my problem.) Been over six years now.
