my truck was running fine Thursday and i rounded a corner and gave it 3/4 throttle and it backfired through the intake and shut off i have replaced the distributor cap and rotor along with crank cen...

When I turn my key I can hear my fuel pump kick in and when I am on the gas it is fine but when I let off of the gas the truck wants to die so I took off my gas cap and there is a whining noise 1 Answer

Trying to determine if my 2004 Ram 1500 Qd cab 4wd 4.7 Liter automatic transmission is 46RE, 47RE, or 48RE so I can determine the band adjustment? Also I have never done a Band adjustment before and wonder if I should take it to a qualified Dodge mechanic, which however I do not trust dealers & most mechanics?Are the specs for band adjustment in Chilton trustworthy?Thank you for any reply I may be granted...I can turn wrenches :) 2 Answers
