My Chevy Lumina 2001 wont even start.. It went dead suddenly on the highway after shuddering for a couple times..I changed the battery, the Dynamo and the ECM yet it wont start.. A friend told me to changed the entire security system and then it may start.. Can you help? can email on ans4211@yahoo.com Thanks

First, does it crank over and not start, or not even turn over? and as for the security do you have a little red LED light flashing?

Looked it up and it has a chain but the tensioners are known to fail in those cars

@FordNut.. There is no start or any lights flasing..its just dead..Changed the battery, starter etc.a friend said it may be the ECM or its the entire security assembly.
