S10 truck cranks but then cuts right back off

Just took ignition switch out

This is due to your Passlock security system malfunctioning.There is a separate switch inside the steering column that is made when the ignition switch is turned. Most of the problems that I have seen with the passlock system are due to bad switch or open wiring in the column.
