My chevy 2002 s10 wont crank starter turning over motor turning over fuelpump makes noice when swith the key forward to start but just wont crank just bought a fuel filter hope that helps

drove to lakecity earlier and when got back mama drove to lakecity again and when she got back it wouldnt crank ever since.

When you say "crank" do you mean.Engine turns but wont Fire. Or does nothing in the start position.If its the latter it could be the ignition switch contacts. Check for spark at plugs.If spark ,spray starting fluid down intake.If it runs briefly.You have a fuel issue.

Is it the 4.3l v6 or the 2.2l 4 cylinder?
